Christopher’s Appraisals
Christopher’s offers several types of appraisals. An insurance appraisal includes a detailed description of the piece, a photograph, and the retail replacement value. You will receive 2 copies of the appraisal – one for the insurance company and one for your files.
You can either:
- Leave your jewelry with us and we will have your appraisal ready for you to pick up in 3-5 business days. Cost is $25 per piece.
- While-You-Wait Appraisals – call Chris at 515-251-4031 and make an appointment. Cost is $45 per piece.
We also offer fair market value appraisals of estate and previously owned jewelry – which would be a price that you could expect to sell an item for on the secondary market. Verbal appraisal cost is $10 per piece.
Christopher’s also buys estate and previously owned diamonds and jewelry. Our needs vary often so please call ahead of time to see what we are currently buying.
