 You deserve the best possible price for your collection, and we can provide this by direct purchase by a coin buyer, an auction or a combination of both. Some material in your collection or estate may be better suited for an auction, and we can provide this service at reasonable cost.

Appraisals

We appraise collections and estates for those who need a value for eventual sale, dispersal or for insurance purposes. An appraisal fee of $30/hr. with a $10 minimum will be assessed for this service, but will be refunded if Christopher's buys the collection or estate. Some re-evaluation may be necessary, due to changing market conditions, if an appraised collection is offered for sale to us at a later date. Auctions

Coin buyer auctionsChristophers has held Coin Auctions and Shows for many years, and we have an outstanding following of collectors and investors who regularly attend them. Christophers publishes a catalog, which is mailed to our customers, and is also posted on this web site, listing each lot with a description and a ‘guidebook’ value. Bidders and coin buyers unable to attend the auction in person have the option of submitting mail bids for the lots they wish to bid on, which will be bid by the auctioneer on their behalf.
